 Not bad..I'm happy and my ma's extremely happy! :D

Yeah...I did it! I scored 7A's and a B. 

Well, what can I say..I'm grateful! Not bad for a girl who studies in SMK Hosba which is surrounded by woods and wild creatures. :D

Seven, a lucky number..Eight, Ong..A Chinese word for lucky too..So, it doesn't matter how much you get for your exam. God is with us and we are always lucky to have him. Our results showed exactly how much we worked and studied. Gotta love it when the results came out nice. I  gotta admit, I was over confident  when I worked on that Pendidikan Islam paper, I never thought I was unable to get an A for that paper..well, the examiner was probably mind-flipped with my answers..haha.

Congratz to all 2012 PMR candidates..you all showed great effort. 

K-Pop fenomena

   Hey there bloggers..I wanna write about something here. Since year 2010, K-Pop has spreaded across the world. And one of the most popular songs today is "Gangnam Style", by PSY. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of K-Pop. I've heard their songs..I've watched their video clips. What I like about their music videos are the graphics and backgrounds, they really did a pretty good job on them.
  It's sad that people are trying to copy them. They dressed like those singers and styled their hair terribly..That's quite annoying. I found a few video clips on Youtube about M-Pop and I-Pop. Malay-Pop and Indo-Pop. Uhh..what irritates me is that they are copying Korean stars..why can't they just find their own identity?? I know they are trying to be great singers..but they have to put their efforts to their career if they want to be famous and known worldwide. Here are 2 videos: What do you guys think??






I prefer J-POP or American music..or maybe Islamic Music. What the heck..I listen to everything.. :D

Feelin' Down?

Hey there peeps..something bad happened to me yesterday. I finished working on my artwork for a competition held in UUM. I worked hard on..it took me about 3 days to finish! Because I was lazy..LOL.  I think I did a pretty good job on it.

But still..I got a problem with it. I think it's not going to win anything. I kept on thinking and thinking and thinking about what's gonna happen to the future and how are the results going to be or am I going to win anything..it's driving me nuts!!
I looked at it again and I think it's childish and immature..I want it to look quite professional. I think I want to draw another one.So, I search for painting and drawing tutorials on Youtube. It encourages me to use watercolour..even though I hate watercolour, the paintings that I watched online was beautiful and I think I should go ahead and try using watercolour. The artworks made by the people who uploaded those videos were amazing, truly wonderful and it looks easy. Actually..it's harder than it looks.
  My artwork turned into some crap and I was angry with it..my mom made weird faces when she looks at me. I knew I can't trust watercolour!! AAggghh!
 I was thinking of my future last night. What's in my mind was ,"I'm not gonna win, you're immature, you are not a pro and you can never win, I am not an artist, I can't be an artist when I can't make PERFECT paintings" Those really drove me crazy..I was so frustrated and I was in stress..I can get rid of that anger, so I cried.
 I cried so bad..I was flipping over some pages of a painting tutorials book that my mom bought me. I was still crying..I hate looking at those paintings, because I really can't make any. I blew up, it's a good thing I didn't tear any pages of the book. It costs my mom quite a fortune.
  But after a while my mom gave me some advices..but it didn't work so well. I went crying under my bed and I was rolling down there. That drives the nerves out of my sister, she got angry. I got angry too..so I hide myself in the cupboard. My sister got angrier. Then, I heard my mom yell from outside to go to sleep. Huh..what a frustrated night..the night I slept with tears and no hope to face against other professional artists.
  But this morning, I woke up early and I searched for motivational and inspirational videos on Youtube. Then, I found a video made by a guy called Shoo Rayner. His words were inspiring..what he said was quite true..the problems he stated was my problems..and the video really helped me to keep on trying and never give up and don't think about the future and all..it's a good video.

Do nothing much vacation

Hey hey hey people...look who's back?! It's been a while I haven't wrote anything here.
 So, during the holidays my mom took me and my sisters to Penang. My dad's still working in KL and he doesn't come along.
       All of us girls were so happy...we shopped and shopped for 3 days in a row! And we ate ice cream everyday . We went swimming at a hotel and played at the beach, making a sand zombie and got washed up in the waves.. The best part of the holiday is when mom gave me and Nini the experience of a lifetime by letting us fly on a parachute!!Wow...it was cool! I screamed hard at first..but then I started to imagine that a giant man-eating shark was going to leap from the ocean and eat me when I got higher in the sky. Gosh it was scaryyyy..but after a while I got used to it and I was flying free like a bird.

 I really had fun up there. I really love my mom.. After Penang we went to Sungai Petani to meet our cousins and aunts. And we stayed there for a day since my aunts really wanted us to. The other day we still had ice cream. It's enjoyable actually! Gotta love the good ol' times.

After our vacation, we didn't do much. Just watching tv and do house chores most of the time. Mom is always at work.Me and my sisters are always at home taking care of things.
You know, during the do-nothing-day..me and my sisters watched Megamind. Yeah it was an awesome show..really awesome!! Gotta love it! It was hacking epic and funny..we didn't get to watch it in the cinemas last year, but it's a good thing Astro subscribed to that show. Awh..for those who didn't watch it yet do watch it! Catch Megamind on your TV.

And another thing..
I was working on something, still it's something quite awesome which I hadn't shown to people. I'm currently working on a new comic. It's called Artist Jalanan. It's a malay comic. Still working on it..it's not done yet. I haven't inked it, but the sketches and storyboards are done.
It's about a boy named Izwan Shafik who grew up without his parents to be a professional artist. When he was a little boy, he and his family were involved in a car crash and  Izwan was separated from his family. He was then kidnapped by two guys who robbed houses for a living. Izwan was forced by them to beg for money on the streets. He was treated terribly since then. Years later, he discovered he had an unusual talent which is drawing, he met several people who helped him to earn the true meaning of living. When he was 18 years old, he joined a drawing competition which promises a ticket for a bright future. Finally he earned the opportunity of a lifetime and succeed in his career.

So here are a few sketches of the main characters that I've drawn.

These are the three main characters. And there's more where that came from..you are the FIRST to see original drafts of my comic. Here are some scenes that I have taken from different chapters. You can say it's a mixture of sad, suspense, love and comedy.

PMR IS OVER!!!!

   Dear bloggers...hey, long time I haven't update this place! Fuh...bersawang nampak!! haha..
So, dah habis exam tunggu apa lagi? Nina lukis puas-puas!!
Sekarang cuti sekolah, and we did a lot of activities in school before the holidays started, we only had 9 days to spend precious moments with our friends and teachers at school. Memang gempak!! Semua activity best2 punya! Buktinya, semua gambar dalam album FB Nina..

Well, nothing much to say..result exam akan keluar bulan 12 nanti. Nina sentiasa doakan yang terbaik untuk semua kengkawan yang mengambil PMR and myself. Kata cikgu2 SMKH, batch Form 3 tahun 2012 lah yang  terbaik berbanding tahun2 lepas. So, result mesti gempak punya!!! Insya-Allah 8A..kalau tak dapat pon Nina redha je dapat berapa A pon.

Hmm..kengkawan form 3 mesti sedang syok kat KL ngan Melaka sekarang..yelah, they went for a 3 days and 2 nights school trip. Nina is stuck here at home with no friends!
Nak tau kenapa Nina tak pergi? Dah mama tak bagi..haha. Nina pon memang teringin sangat nak join diorang, tapi Mom was really strict. She said she can't trust the school's safety measurements.

 Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR)

PMR?? yup...memang Nina tahun ni kena ambik exam besar. Nina selalu terfikir, kalau lah dapat 8A ..macam mana rasanye? Tak boleh pon nak bayang happiness waktu dapat result straight A , UPSR dulu Nina just dapat 4A..ni pula PMR, 8 subject nak kena ambik, so berkali-kali ganda la Nina kena usaha.

  Tadi lepas solat Asar, Nina menangis dalam bilik..dok fikir lagi pasal PMR, nak dekat dah ni..kalau tolak makan, tolak tidur, tolak waktu main-main ,melukis-lukis, menconteng-conteng maybe kurang dari seminggu je lagi. Tapi kan...during the whole week macam2 benda yg jadi, yang buruk ada yang baik ada..

Semalam,
Sekolah ada buat Majlis Bacaan Yaasin Perdana kt Masjid Napoh. Nina pi la..walaupun hujan, the show must go on! Mama hantar sampai dalam kawasan masjid, waktu kereta Nina masuk tu..perrggh, semua orang pandang! Maybe diorang ingat VIP kot, pasal nombor plate kereta Nina unik sikit..hehe
Dah tu, Nina pon turun la..mujur nampak kengkawan sekelas..Nina ni asing la jugak dengan kawasan masjid tu. Mama tak ikut pon..dia letih baru balik kerja. Majlis tu mula pukul 7 lebih, so..sebelum tu Nina gather ngan Ain and Midar. Kita sembang la sat..pastu nampak anak cikgu Ku..perrgghhhhh comeeeeyy gilaa!! umur 4 tahun plus dok speaking English! AAwwhhhh..adorable sangat.
Then, majlis pon mula la..kita buat solat hajat, baca Yaasin, dengar ceramah..hah!! Yang part dengar ceramah tu la Nina tak tahan..lawak tu lawak..tapi part last tu ustaz suruh dok ngan parents pasal nak mulakan "sesi air mata". Ustaz tu suruh duduk ngan parents, usap2 tangan parents..lap air mata parents..peluk parents..plus, suara ustaz tu bagi keadaan syahdu sangat. Nina sorang ja duduk kat tengah jalan sambil peluk beg, dah Mama tak datang..rasa sedih la jugak, tapi nak nangis tu malu sikit sebab dok sorang kan..nanti kalau nangis pon siapa nak mai pujuk?? haha
Pukul 10:30 malam baru majlis selesai. Mama dok tunggu kat luar dalam kereta. Nina semakin bersemangat nak ambik periksa..

Haritu,
Tusyen asrama takdak..Nina gi bilik guru. Cikgu Sam ada kat dalam, so Nina pon sembang2 ngan dia. Seronok..kita melawak sakan! Teacher Mami pon join melawak sekali..tak tahan la dengaq depa buat lawak..cerita pasal pengalaman dulu2 kat kampus..hihi. Nina mintak advice dari Cikgu Sam pasal nanti kalau naik Form 4 Nina nak ambil course mana..Nina teringin nak ambik Arts and Sastera. Tapi kalau arts tu ada lah..sastera dulu ada..sekarang entah tak dak dah kot. Cikgu Sam tanya Nina nak jadi apa besar nanti, Nina pon jawab nak jadi International Artist. Pastu lepas2 jawab dia gelak...entah kenapa dia gelak..pastu Teacher Mami pon kata la kat Cikgu Sam yang Nina nak jadi Artist, pelukis..bukan penyanyi..haha, cikgu confuse dekat situ. Cikgu Sam pon gelak lagi..Teacher Mami pon cerita kat cikgu Sam yang Mama suruh Nina jadi cikgu English..(Nina sembang ngan Teacher Mami dah sebelum ni) Cikgu Sam first2 tu nampak terkejut..pastu dia senyum..pastu dia gelak pulak lagi sekali..So, I'm Joining the Club!- that's what I said.
Yes..Mom said I can take arts as a second subject, and I have to focus on the main subject that I'm good at-English.
Cikgu Sam kata, "Tunku memang bagus dalam seni, tapi apa yang mak Tunku cakap pon betul jugak..Tunku boleh jadi cikgu English yang pandai melukis..maybe cikgu yg mengajar kedua-dua subject English and Arts atau cikgu English yang super creative sampai mengajar sambil melukis..oohhh, mungkin sampai orang luar pon kenal pastu panggil Tunku ajar kat tempat diorang, then you'll be a very famous and creative teacher..tak silap Cikgu pon mai belajar kt Tunku..hahaha "- tu lah ungkapan kata-kata Cikgu Sam yang memberi semangat dan sungguh bermakna :) Teacher Mami pon sokong apa yang Cikgu Sam cakap.
 
So, mulai hari ini..Nina study betul2..Nina nak jadi orang yang luar biasa macam apa yang Cikgu Sam describe. Memang dalam hati ni, Nina macam nak study kat tempat yang lebih best..tapi lepas2 dengar sokongan yang mantap dari cikgu2 kat SMK Hosba..Nina rasa macam nak jadi pelajar Hosba yang setia! Tak pindah pon takpa kot..hehehe..8 A dalam tangan Nina..I'll do it for you guys!!! - Mom, Family, Teachers and School!!

MERDEKAAAA....TAK LAGI.

  Assalam.. guys! I'm glad my PMR Trial's over..that means PMR is approaching soon! I have about another  2 months before PMR, we celebrate Hari Raya first..then study! :)
By the way,
Today - Raya Holidays ( 10 days) =  about a few weeks till PMR! 
So we gotta get going and study fast!! There's no way I'm losing those As.
~ forgot to tell you about my Trial results. I scored 2 As and the rest are Bs or maybe there's 1 C..altogether there are 8 subjects. The trial was damn hard, but people said PMR is way easier..so with 2As and all the others are Bs..that means I have the chance to score myself 8As!!! If I can do it..you can do it too!! Perhaps you guys are better, so then let's turn it around..If you can do it, I can do it too!!
And another fun thing,
Uncle Lan from Sweden came back to Malaysia!!! yaaayyyy..he surprised me in front of my own doorstep yesterday!!  Gosh..my mom should have captured my reactions when I first saw him. It was so funny! We break-fast at EDC last night. Boy, we had a great night!! :D

It's NOT OVER!

Assalamualaikum everybody..happy Ramadhan to all!!
  Hehe..perasan tak kita ada kurang dari sembilan hari lagi nak raya??
Wow, excited terlebih ni nak raya pasal tahun ni agak special bagi Nina. :) Plus..the good news is that my PMR Trial has passed! Yayyyy!!!! Tough jugak soalan2 yang diorang bagi, tapi Alhamdulillah semuanya Nina boleh jawab. Tak tahulah Nina jawab dengan betul ka dengan salah ka..tapi yang pasti semua Nina jawab! :D hihi.
Yang syoknya waktu menjawab kertas Agama Islam, Nina siap awal. So, lebih kurang sejam lagi sebelum masa tamat, lama tu....Nina pon takkan nak buang je masa sebanyak tu, Nina semak la kertas tu balik dalam 1 minit..
Then, baru Nina conteng2 atas kertas soalan dan kertas kajang yang lebih. Dah boring..takkan nak ternganga ja? hehe..

Hahaha...begitulah Nina conteng kalau dah boring terlebih..nasib cikgu tak tangkap :) 

So..wish me luck for the results, I want to make myself the happiest person on earth!! Tapi kan, PMR tak buat lagi..so, my journey isn't over yet! I gotta work hard, work smart and believe that God is helping me to  get the best results I've never had!

Mission Impossible: Comic Search!

Assalamualaikum everyone! Nina's back once more..so as the title says, I did something today and that is searching for the comic book I've been searching for in months. Penat tadi...pi Aloq Staq singgah rumah tok, pastu teman mak pi shopping kat Pacific Hypermarket. Best la gak..Nina jumpa kasut Supra berkilat-kilat depan mata, pastu beberapa orang salesman pi halang pulak..depa paksa suruh amik kertas, kononnya kalau ambik dapat free item la..tapi Mom cakap jangan amik..memang trick diorang nak suruh kita beli barang. Apalah ngan depa?? patut pi training la dulu nak jadi salesman yg successful, macam Uncle Z..dia pakar lagi! haha..mana ada paksa paksa orang.
 Okay..then, Mama pon beli la baju Raya, baju kerja, kasut..Nina beli tudung satu je. Then, Nina teringat kat  komik "Misi 10 A Plus ", memang selama ni Nina dok cari merata tempat tapi tak jumpa2 lagi! Tadi singgah Popular bookstore, cari2 jumpa hat lain, Misi 10A Plus tak dak..sedih. Pastu Nina tanya la salesgirl kat situ..dia cakap tak dak stok kat situ..then dia tolong Nina carikan kedai Popular area Alor Star yg ada lagi stok. Kat Tesco Mergong, ada lagi 8 buah komik yg tinggal..Nina pon apa lagi, pi sana la! Tapi Nina sampai  sana pon beberapa jam kemudian pasal ada hal yang Mama nak bereskan. Dah sampai kat Tesco, Nina pon naik escalator pastu pi bookstore...cari2 tak jumpa pulak dah!! Dah habis orang beli kot..hancur luluh hati Nina hajat tak kesampaian lagi..still, Nina tetap akan cari sampai jumpa. Hihi!

      Haaahh..lagi kan, Nina tetiba teringat balik waktu Nina lukis komik masa sekolah rendah..Nina cari balik komik buatan sendiri yang paling lama Nina simpan..yang paling lama pun dalam tahun 2006. Yang ruginya, Nina tak terfikir pon kalau jual komik Nina tu, segala kenangan yang Nina dah lukis hilang macam tu saja..Nina ingat balik komik-komik yang Nina jual dulu memang precious tak terkata! Jokes yang lawak2 semuanya dah terjual..Nina dulu kecik lagi..besa la..nak kerja, nak duit...hehe, Nina jual dalam kelas dulu dapat duit banyak. Laku beb! Siap bawak tabung pi sekolah nak simpan duit.Masa tu darjah 1..komik pon Nina jual 50 sen sebuah, yang extra tebal Nina letak harga seringgit . Murahnya...sebab tu laku, Nina buat banyak cerita, semuanya merapu habis! Tapi..waktu Nina darjah tiga, Nina kena tangkap dengan cikgu disiplin sebab jual komik. Kena panggil berjumpa dengan dia , Nina pon takut la..yang peliknya cikgu tu tak marah pun...dia tanya Nina nak jadi apa besar nanti, Nina cakap, " Saya nak jadi kartunis". Pastu cikgu senyum, dia lepaskan Nina. Habis..tak dak teguran apa pun! Nina jual lagi komik sampai darjah 6. Darjah 6 Nina kurangkan jual komik pasal Nina baru faham yang komik Nina tu precious..boleh dijadikan kenangan. Mana tahu nanti anak, cucu, cicit..keturunan Nina nak jadi artist..hehe.

 Ni ada beberapa buah komik lama yang Nina masih simpan..lukisannya tak elok pon..mentah lagi!

I learned how to use pens and markers to ink comics. This was done  when I was 14 years old.

 Still, I have a lot of time to improve my skills..I'm working on a new comic and it's a sad story..can't tell you guys about it yet because it's quite personal. I don't know either I will publish it or not, but I will discuss about it with a really cool cartoonist that can help me with my work. Freddy's back!!

Hellow, dear bloggers out there..sorry for not updating for so long. I'm here..but I'm gonna have to write fast  coz later I have to go back to school again. I just came back home from hostel yesterday evening, and this morning I'm gonna have to go back to school? But I'm not upset..I have a trip to Langkawi Island for 2 days with my friends and teachers, exciting and it's one of the best school moments I've been waiting for.
So, I brought along my camera..my sketch pad, clothes,jackets, sneakers, whatevah...bla3! And now I'm getting ready to take my shower. I just uploaded some pictures on FB last night, trying to give my camera memory some space . And I think photography is now my 2nd best hobby! Who would hate it?

 A few days ago, me and my senior chit-chatted about horror films during the old times like the ones in the 80's and 90's. Yeah it was cool..I prefer watching those old films than Malay horror films these days. They're just over acting and sometimes doesn't even make sense..to me it's just a some kind of movie created to annoy people! I used to date a guy named Freddy Krueger when I was 7. LOL...I mean not date him..he's now a 70 year old man, during the old days he's one of my favourite villains. Gotta love his moves when he fought Jason from "Freddy vs Jason "(2003), he's the best! Plus..he's just too adorable, his shiny bladed fingers and burnt handsome face..LOL!! That's just grossing you guys out..so here's my Freddy

Happy Like CRAZY

Assalamualaikum everybody! I'm in a good mood now, so I'll be telling about the fun me and the drama gang  had been through last week. Last week was a busy week, tak masuk kelas pon..busy with the drama rehearsals and drawings..I manage to find some friends to help me with the super big painting and everything's done in just an evening! That's what I call Friends Power!

Yeah...the drama went smooth, it took a while to make it perfect. We found our confidence on the first day of rehearsal at SMS Kubang Pasu. Memang kitaorang dah yakin boleh menang..tapi kan, esok tu dekat sekolah sains..semua sekolah ada sound system! Just SMK Hosba je yang agak manual dan tak dak system tu..semua modern, kita tradisional ja...jealous la gak tengok costume diorang, sound system..props..tapi our school is brave enough to face them! Plus...they liked the background I made..hehe.
 So, kita pon dah ready untuk berjuang..

Perrggghh, memang tak sangka stage diorang  2, 3 kali ganda lebih besar berbanding stage SMK Hosba, dewan pon sama. Dapat 4th place..tak kisah la, yang penting dapat gak sijil! Then, waktu balik dalam kereta teacher macam besa la..nyanyi la menari la..bergegar habis Myvi teacher. Hahaha..geng dalam kereta teacher Norita kat belakang perasan yang kereta Teacher Chu bergegar. Lawak..syok pon syok, teacher bawak shopping la..belanja..macam2! Best...the best ever. Maybe next year la kita nak mencuba lagi nasib..kali ni Nina tak jadi narrator dah..memang takkan ada narrator..nak wat cerita komedi yang ada sound system! haha..memandangkan ni first time SMK Hosba bertanding dalam drama memang tak menang pon takpa..janji syok.
  Then, ada lagi satu cerita..haritu my art teacher kasi semua orang artwork exam mid-term..Nina sorang ja tak dapat balik..cikgu kata dia nak simpan pasai comey..haha. Tak la cute mana pun..Nina lukis tajuk Komik..habis tu berangan la macam2 sambe lukis waktu exam. Dapat highest mark..nak tau kenapa dapat highest?? Pasai character dalam drawing Nina pakai tudung, so cikgu kata kualiti lukisan Nina memang tinggi..haha! Lukisan Dakwah memang power...character tutup aurat je dah dapat markah tertinggi..haha, inilah kelebihan melukis lukisan dakwah. Thank You Allah!
